"I finally got my new MacAir dryer on line. I decided to re pipe my shop with a Rapid Air system to get rid of the trash in my air lines so it took me a little longer to get back on line.
I cut a few test pieces to make sure everything was working with an old tip and it worked as advertised. I set up my new jobs and was going to change the tip and electrode and forgot. I cut
about 3 hours Saturday and probably another 3 hours yesterday using the same old tip and electrode without any noticable difference in cut quality. That's probably about a 300% increase in
consumable life so far. At this point I have to say that I'm very satisfied. The only problem I've had so far is the automatic drain scaring me half to death the first couple of times it went off."
