Very nice. Is the fish actually inlayed into the wood or just placed on top of it. If inlayed what was your process? I would guess cut fish, trace on wood and then route it out. Like Capstone said, NICE FIRST POST!

The Mahi is full inlay. Designed fish in Flexisign, then saved as DXF to work on it in Vector 9.4. Had buddy with large 10x20 Plasma cut stainless. verified size, did a small offset. Cut inlay on my 4x8 Shopbot PRT Alpha with 6.6HP HSD spindle and tool change. Sandblasted back of stainless to rough it. Used Original Gorilla glue, wetting both surfaces as specified in instructions. Clamped with another piece steel to ensure it would be flat. Sanded smooth and coated with polyurethane.
