Or notes! Looked at my desk one day and couldn't believe the amount of paper notes scribbled on everything! I threw this together, and now I always have a fresh place to make notes, and if I ever need to refer back to a setting or specific note, I just roll back to find it.... You can also leave the bottom roll empty so you can just rip off the sheet when you fill the page.
This uses the 6" rolls of masking paper you get at home depot for less than $2... You'll have to experiment with the lower guide with the saw tooth tear off piece, I had to use a few of my hammers to "fine tune" the fitment, but once the holes line up, it works great....
The piece that reads "Notes" is tacked to a 1/4" rod, and it keeps the paper from unwinding, but you can also bend the sides in a bit to pinch the rolls so the paper stays tight.
Sand the top edge of the tear off guide really smooth so the paper doesn't catch when it's feeding through... Also, I've added a thick piece of cardboard like what you find on the back of a legal pad to the area that you write on... makes using a pen much nicer to write on.
Hope some find this useful, Posting the DXF in a few minutes!

Re: Take Note!
I really like that. i seen something like that before. I know it was back in school on the over head projectors. where they had the 2 rollers full of film.
I can't wait to see the dxf so i can try my hands at one of these.
Thank you

Re: Take Note!
Forgot to mention, the metal tube is 1" diameter, which fits inside the paper rolls perfectly.... And when loading the paper onto the takeup roll I attach it with a little piece of masking tape and give it a few turns to put some tension on the paper...
DXF posted... Enjoy!... if you make one please post a pic, especially if you improve or modify it... I threw this together in a few minutes out of necessity and didn't give it a lot of thought to "artsy" elements!

Very cool. I like the idea. I may try one of these when I get enough time int he shop to get my head above water. With Christmas coming it may not happen this year.
Thanks for the share and inspiration.
