Industrial Frame

Post by tnbndr »

Made this frame for a leaded glass piece that used to be in our kitchen cabinets. The art was made by a friends dad in 1989 and I am framing it to give to him as a gift, his father passed on last year. There were three pieces originally and I only used two when we remodeled the kitchen.
Made from 1x3 tubing, because apparently 1/2x3 or 1/2 by anything is not available.

Awesome! Any plans to back light it? I like the heavy industrial look, it contrasts the delicateness of the flower.... Well done!

I tried backlighting but did not Ike the effect. The light wasn't diffused enough.
