Sheriff Badge

Post by Unvevo »

All pieces are mild cold roll 12ga steel. Everything gold I used Copper F/X on and Polished the chrome looking items. Both were then cleared with automotive clear coat. The state seal was powdercoated candy blue. I used rare earth magnets to space everything apart. The heaviest parts I put a dab of ca glue on to keep the magnets from sliding down the super slick clear coat.

Looks very nice it will look better if you could get a straight on shot like it was hanging on the wall.

I would, I just dont have anywhere to hang it. Its super heavy! I have bolt holes at the tip of the star. It is covered by the circles with magnets attaching them.

so all the layers are held together with magnets? seems a lot less expensive to just use nut spacers and epoxy on all those layers and less apt to come apart if it's bumped/poked/dropped.

My POS table does not have a THC. I have a hard time cutting anything thin. It warps up and blows out my tips. In 2 months I went through over 20 sets of consumables. It's so much cheaper to use thick metal. I'm new to all of this so I'm slowly learning

It's something I tried recently and have had really good results with so far. I order them from China so they are pennies on the dollar.

I ran for 2 years without height control. Cut mostly 14g and some 16g. No issues here really.
