You want to make a sheet metal brake, like a manual one? How thick do you want to bend? How wide? I am making a sheetmetal brake just started yesterday, I will post some picts.
Thanks, Metal Lee

.......i'm not sure if you guys would be interested, but a buddy of mine was at the scrap yard when a big truck came rollin on the scales with part of a load of "cut off" American Standard dies from a big company.... The pieces are both male and female dies ranging from 6" long to about 5'. I don't know all the fancy names for all of them, but some of them are for overbends, nineties, and back to back bends as well as others.... if your interested, hit me up, an I'll give you his number... I paid scrap iron price.

I bought this shop made brake a year ago. Its five feet long and will bend 3/16's. It is unbelievable strong causing me to abuse it at times, but I picked it up cheap so I give it a hard time. Design is simple.
