Detect Intersections/Show Spots Confusion

Hi, maybe someone can explain to me like I'm 6 years old about detect intersections and show spots..

For example, that DXF speed shop download.. I'm not going to cut it out as of now but on some other part I'm creating have the same problem.

When I select detect intersections, I get a gazzillion red spots, and can see them off and on by selecting show spots..

If I zoom way in on them I see broken cut paths,, What Do I Do At This Point, I sure cant fix every red spot.

I have some simple parts that I have created, and have the same problem, but at least not a gazzillion of them..

If you are importing jasons file it is in dxf format.....you will need to link the file first....in design edge, hilight the art and hit J to link(this is the quick key.) Now you can convert to cut paths. You will always have intersections when you change to cut paths,(anywhere there is a lead in) I hope this helps.
