Mach3 jog rate

Post by mmrsam »

I am running mach 3 on a home built table. Everything has always worked fine. Now my arrow keys only jog at about 1.6 when the rate is set at 100. Not sure if I accidently changed a setting.

Mine has a continous jog rate and a step jog rate and the speed of the jog is a percentage. I believe it is based on a percentage of the 100% jog rate that is entered in the Mach 3 profile.
My guess is your percentage number changed somehow, or the jog rate in your profile.

Are you holding down the shift key when you press the arrow keys or just pressing the arrow keys?
If the jog speed returns to normal when holding down the shift key while you use the arrow keys, check your slow jog rate by hitting the tab key. It may be set at a very low percentage.

Thanks but I figured it out. I went into "restore" and went back a few sessions. Everything is working fine
