Here are a few Google cache pages of the topic.
I could only find page 3, 5 and 6, but good reading none the less.

Google "polyhedra" and you will find all sort of items made from geometric shapes. You can make something and build a fire in it. Call it whatever you want.

I received a "cease and desist" warning from him on my Etsy store the other day because I was selling my firepit. I have had that up there since before he got his patent on it. I just changed the title to vessel, do you think I should be ok?

I've talked to a copyright lawyer who wanted me to build him one. After telling him there was a copyright on it he asked for the copyright number. After his law firm dug into it all they can find out is he holds the copyright on his images. The lawyer told me that if he contacted me again to tell him unless he is willing to send a copy of ALL of the paperwork that he submitted to obtain his copyright tell him to go pound sand.

I wouldn't sweet it one bit, Sell away, its just a Scare tactic, I have been on both sides of this . its probably one of the hardest things to prove out there, and then get any kind of money out of it, and that goes both ways, thanks KH

I dont think he can copyright the shape no matter what he calls it. Geodesic, etc. its been around for a long long time. I think the big question is...does the copyright only pertain to the images he submitted, or to any image applied? I am referencing to the Lizard fellow when I ask the question.

He can only copyright his own drawn images on the individual shapes. If you use your own images then you are free to go. The shape itself can not be copyrighted.

I believe that "Lizard King", the one who claims the copyright on the geodesic fireball, and who was banned from this site is the poster using a different handle of "Lmpsr70357" on this page now. Just FYI and a heads up to everyone on here.

so many cutting tables will go out of business when copyright owners come after cnc cutting table owners. easy to find you, just look right here on plasma spider. believe it or not. cnc plasma cutting table manufactures hate copyright, trademark, patent laws. just to stir sh*t up again.............

15 copyright cease and desist notifications out today, People really do hate me, that makes me sad.......now my patent is pending and will strengthen the rights to my design and protect 30 shops that purchased rights to build it.
