Thanks these are great. How are you applying the dye from steel FX? I tried the brown but it did not look as good as yours, it dried instantly and tended to be streaky.

Thanks these are great. How are you applying the dye from steel FX? I tried the brown but it did not look as good as yours, it dried instantly and tended to be streaky.

For these I am using a small paint brush, appying the dye and following the stroke until the brush completly runs out of dye, I make sure my brush is not saturated, wipe it on the bottle both sides first so it will not be so runny. It takes very little dye to cover this, in most cases cannot even tell it has dye on it, one you shoot it with clear the color pops out.
I tried another ornament in orange, and the application was not as nice as the yellow. I have also airbrushed bigger pieces but my airbrush system is not the best and it over coats using way too much dye.
