EGR Block Off Plates - Sierra Silverado LLY Duramax 2500 HD

Made a set of these the other night for my truck so I could eliminate the entire EGR assembly. Pretty lame in comparison the awesome shares we have been getting lately but for someone who is looking for EGR block offs this will be perfect and save them some time. 3 plates in total, 1 to block the exhaust up pipe to the EGR, and the other 2 block off the ports on the intake pipe where the EGR valve body connects.

Not lame at all I was just talking about these the other day. Does it throw codes when installed?

I have yet to drive the truck since, the project was much larger than just EGR removal and I am still waiting on some parts to finish up. Hopefully next week I can get it out and see what happens.

Ok trucks back on the road and no check engine light but you get 4 codes if you check with a scanner. These codes do not seem to harm performance whatsoever....truck hauls better than ever with the new turbo from my good friend Herman at http://www.cherryturbos.com/ and few other mods.

What year of truck will this work on?

My trucks an 05 LLY and they will work on any LLY model. As for newer or older models I am not sure.
