Looking for a good Marine Corp logo to Engrave

Post by derickstephens »

I am looking for a good dxf file of a marine corps logo to engrave into an aluminum bible cover. Any ideas?

I found one in the forums and it said that I needed to be a contributing member. I bought one of the $20 packages and it still wont let me in. Any suggestions on how to do this so that I can download what I need?

Thanks
Derick

You have to make sure you login to download. On a regular search you can see the files, but unless logged in, won't be able to download.

No haven't done anything to it yet. The brown tint is the reflection of the table it is on. It is still just plain 12 stainless. New at the color filing aspect. What is a good ink or dye do you guys use?

A laser cutting machine has the capability to etch. When preparing the dxf file you select the type of contour you want cutting, marking or etching. After I fixed all of the open and overlapping contours in Cad, I simply imported the final dxf and chose how I wanted to cut it...now I just need to learn the art of coloring once a project is complete... not sure where to get started or what products to use... any insight would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of guys us https://steelfxpatinas.com/ might take a look at his videos.

I have seen the logo that needed fixed before , Ben has a good fixed version hidden on this site somewhere that looks like it would cut as is.
