Large Eagle insert your own logo
Here is a Large Eagle I did, I removed the logo. I converted it from an embroidery picture I found, it was alot of work, and cut out real nice! Took a while to cut, lots of pierces, but worth it!
I've grabbed a few files off of here, thanks everyone! So I thought i'd better share.
Post a photo if you cut it!!

Looks great . . .
So much detail . . .
Would you share material gauge, size you were successful at cutting & settings?

Re: Large Eagle insert your own logo
I cut it out of 16 ga. The overall height is about 36"CNCCAJUN wrote:Looks great . . .

Steve
Cut speed was about 350 ipm, but with the detail it didnt get up to speed very often
I wouldnt want to cut it much smaller, but, it would be nice bigger.

It is in dxf. In the zip file. It was too big (2mb) to upload as a dxf.DezertBlingMoto wrote:can we get this in dxf? I would love this for my living room thxs in advance
Unzip it with Winzip, winrar, 7zip or any other un zipping software.

Re: Large Eagle insert your own logo
I've got a question and I am sure that you guys have the answer. I am running Torchmate Cad software and this has happened more than once, when I import a file such as this one, the drawing is in small line segments that are not connected, I can go in and manually connect the nodes, but it takes a life time to do so Is there an easier way?? Thank you for any input

Re: Large Eagle insert your own logo
I all so use torchmate cad what you need to do is go too arrange then go to connect path most of the time it will work if you still have sum spots that did not work go to the note edit and click on a note then hit hold tab when the red note stops you have a brake in the path you just need to connect the path

Re: Large Eagle insert your own logo
Here is the eagle in straight dxf. Joined lines and reduced nodes so it should be cut ready.

That is amazing. The detail is incredible, I imagine this takes quite some time to cut.

Like the previous poster said. You can also node edit one line, hold shift and double click the other line. You get two lines in their node edit functions. Highlight the two end nodes and hit J (join).
