Need some conversionh elp please-Heartland Automation

Post by GDS Metal Worx »

I have been trying for days to convert this image using Photoshop and illustrator with no luck. I have converted other images with great results, but this one is giving me trouble. And it shouldn't The letter are not coming out with sharp square corners, but are rounded and squiggly. Can someone please help me out?

Thanks

Did a quick one in Corel. Used Arial Bold and Arial Bold Italic for the text and manually traced the other objects. Not perfect but done in about 5 minutes. Still needs bridging.

The sign looks alright but the letter spacing looks wrong. Were the letters supposed to be spaced out and centered on the sign? Your A and T are on top of each other. and the whole word is off center.

Just wanted to thank Muzza again for the help on the conversion. Got it installed yesterday, and the owner is interested in having me do another one for their other office out of state and they are also interested in having a bigger one for outside of their building. I cut this one from 1/8" P&O with 1/8 x 1.5 flat stock for the horizontal bar. Ground with a zig zag pattern and clear gloss powder coat on it. Finished size is 5'x3'

Thanks again for your help. I have been guilty of being a lurker on this site for a few years. Many people on this site have helped me learn so much. I would not be where I am without the members on here. Such a great group of people here. Hopefully I will be able to return the help that I have gotten in the future.

That's awesome! I really like the finish. Can you give a little more detail on how you did it?
