I do but it isn't MY design, but it was available free years ago, I have front and Rear.
The file is not perfect and will need tweaking and re-nesting to fit your machine and material...

You will need to tweak it and arrange it for your table.
I would cut the Bumper Top out of Treadplate, the rest from flat plate...

Both of these I would cut from 3/16 Plate...
Once again I can't take credit for the files
Good Luck!

That front pic is the only one I have I know I used to have the Rear Bumper I am sure, but I can't find them, I am lucky to still have the .DXFs I never had a machine until recently, last time I used them I printed the pattern 1:1 scale and hand cut them from plate.

Thanks - Great file. I'm fixing to build front and rear for my wife's new 3/4 ton but I'm also building a brush guard with an eagle. Thanks much as I'm going to use it as a mock up for my F550 ford.

Has anyone else cut these? I downloaded them, but for some reason they will not open.
Anyone else modify a dxf?

I checked the rear bumper top plate and it was not the right length and the angles near the tail lights corners were no where near right. It might be good for layout and design ideas, but it was no where near a good "cutable" file to reproduce a bumper with. Maybe some of you other guys will have better luck with it.

Your probably right there Brian,
with Fords you have to add the rust where as with the Chevs it's built in, comes standard with every one ;)

True enough :(

Having worked on every make though, I have seen far fewer issues with things on GM and Toyota... Strangely...

Holy cow, too funny! That's my truck! I've been lurking around on here for a while now trying to gather as much info as I can for my upcoming build and did not expect to see my truck and bumpers to show up here. Guess I should introduce myself, my name is Ryan. As far as my background, I got my BS in Mech Eng from the Air Force Academy (where I built these bumpers) and am currently on active duty in the AF.

I designed and built these bumpers about 3 years ago when I had access to a waterjet and welding/machine shop. I'd like to address some questions and concerns. The angles around the tail lights did work out, but barely. It did require a little tweaking to get everything right. The file definitely is not perfect but it got the job done for me. I realize that the file is not perfect and had eventually planned on fixing it up. I'm serving overseas at the moment but I'll add that list of things to do when I get back stateside, especially now that I have a computer that can handle SolidWorks. As far as the brackets to attach the bumpers to the truck, I unfortunately do not have any. What can tell you is they were two 3/8" x 4 flat stock brackets that I welded to the inside of the bumper and then drilled and attached to the frame using 3/4" grade 8 bolts. These bumpers were cut from one 4x8 sheet of 3/16" steel and then welded up. Haha! That damn rust... I let it go because I was taking my time grinding down all the welds (giant PITA BTW). I eventually sandblasted the bumpers and the step tubes I made and had it all Line-x'ed. Here's an album of he build:

http://s22.photobucket.com/user/wichy14 ... er%20build

Let me know if you guys have a hard time viewing them. Hopefully they shed some light on the dxf. The second to last photo is what I was essentially trying to copy for the rear bumper and the last one is how she stood before I sold it (miss the hell out of that truck).

One thing is for sure, I can't wait to get my table built so I can finally start making some more of these. I've got an 86 C10 I'll be eventually building some bumpers for as well. Here are a few bonus shots of a PBR sign I made. I'll try to dig up the DXF and post it but I'm not sure if I have it on the HDD I have out here with me.

It appears BBCode is off for me so throwing these pics in the post wasn't going to work, hence my links to my photobucket/dropbox accounts. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know so I can embed these photos in my post.

Excellent job Ryan! I've seen the post before and was wondering why someone would go to all that work and not paint it? Your post of the build explains it all. Thumbs up buddy! Nice job. Bob

Thank you for the kind words! Corfabrication, I really appreciate the offer! Unfortunately I don't live in WI anymore. On a positive note though I will be coming home to Milwaukee to spend time with the family after I get back from this deployment.
