Home / Micro business - Insurance?

Post by davek0974 »

Hi all,

Those of us running a cutter as a home or micro business, making art and lawn ornaments etc, how many of you have product liability insurance???

My business is very slowly growing but I am getting to the point where I think I need it, but not sure if it applies to a business only making hundreds per year not tens of thousands in sales?????

Thanks

If you look at my post in this thread . . . the company I found DOES INCLUDE PRODUCT LIABILITY for products made and sold from your home shop/studio . . .

Thanks, re-read it.

I did get a reply this evening from a broker, I can get product and public liability cover for ?265 a year.

I think that's reasonable?
