Welcome themodernsmithy. Introductions usually precede request. I'm Rick LOL. I hope this will help. Just a quick trace, will need a little clean up. I scaled it to 24 inches but you can rescale it to whatever size you need. Again welcome to the forum.

Thanks so much guys, and by the way, I'm Jesse and along with my wife Melissa we run a small metal working business in Pontiac, IL. Ive always done parts welding/repair and precision TIG welding. The artsy stuff is kinda new for us. I had tried to bring this in on our design edge software and it was a big mess. I will agree, its one of the ugliest trees I have seen, but it is part of a customers logos,LOL...again, Thanks a bunch, hope I can contribute in some way soon.

Hi Jesse, Inkscape is free and would be a good addition to you business for just this type of conversion.
It was virtually a 4 click deal

Jesse - there may have been something done not quite right or set wrong in your Design Edge. I tried your file in DesignEdge and got an identical quality trace to the one jester uploaded. I do use a different program a lot but DE is pretty powerful.

Welcome Jesse and Melissa. Hope to see more of you. Like Old Iron said Inkscape does a wonderful job with DXF and SVG ( which I prefer ) and best of all it's a FREE download.
