How to Create Screen Shots
Here's how I create .jpgs for all of the designs I upload to show people what the .dxf will look like.
I Use the Snipping tool that's standard on all up to date Windows PC's.
It is found under Windows Accessories. If you can't find it, simply do a search from your applications window and then be sure to r-click and pin it to your taskbar for repeated use.
Simply have the picture up of your design on the desktop and then click the "New" button on the Snipping tool and then drag a rectangle around your design and then hit File: Save As and put that .jpg into a folder with a matching name.
Then when you attach the .dxf file, you can also add a .jpg picture as well.
I use this tool a LOT to take pictures from videos for ideas and also to save information from training webcasts to use as notes on the tests for technical training certs I have done in the past.

Re: How to Create Screen Shots
Another great tool is Skitch. It's free, your images are saved to the cloud and it's easy to drag and drop to your email, desktop, etc.. It's also easy to annotate when you want to point something out in the image. I use it on Mac all the time.

I use Lightshot - same premise as Skitch. All of them work great - thanks, Cap!

Re: How to Create Screen Shots
Thanks for the tip capstone. Goes to show you can still teach an old dog new tricks. I've been using Alt/Print screen for so long and now you come and show me a way that's been there all this time. Thanks again
