Cut it from 6mm so pretty heavy but looks good being a bit thicker.

Wow thanks for the files! I would like to learn how to make those. Your deck looks amazing! What guage sheet did you use? What kind of fastener is used there? Looks like some sort of stand off? Thanks!

Here are close ups. I just drilled in the wood to hold it. The washers are used to keep it floating a certain size. I used 3/8" round
