Re: CNC Plasma Cut Vintage Motorcycles
The Triton (Triumph engine in the Norton featherbed frame) was another popular conversion back in the day.

Here are a couple of modern "super bikes." A 330 hp Kawasaki H2R and a 214 hp Ducati Panigale V4S. They don't have the charisma of the early Brit bikes, but you can't sneeze at their performance.

You have a really nice collection of vintage brit bikes ! How long does it take you to trace a picture and get it ready to cut ?

Re: CNC Plasma Cut Vintage Motorcycles
There is more involved than tracing. It is necessary to move parts slightly, create bridges, and decide what needs to appear in front of what. Also, no solid part can be less than .150" wide and there has to be at least .150" between parts and cutouts. The masking and painting adds more time.
The whole process probably takes 6 to 8 hours or so. Of course, like painting a picture, the longer you wait to cut it the more little changes and improvements you make.

I don't think I've shown this photo:
Joe Smith's Harley drag bike, Sonny Routt's twin Triumph engine drag bike, & Clem Johnson's Barn Job (also shown above).

Here are a couple more Harley cutouts -- a Road Glide and a V-Rod:

Nice work! I think I saw your 40 Ford in you other post, but the 32 3W is a new one. I just sold my 32 5W project.

Here's another one i cranked out yesterday. Masking it to paint was harder than drawing it.

Great work!! One thing you might consider is creating masks using your cnc - perhaps add a sharpie pen holder and draw them from your file. Another neat method would be to use one of those inexpensive Cricut machines and cut from adhesive backed vinyl. I've got one I use for similar tasks, and the cost was several hundred dollars on Amazon. Another great toy to have some fun with.
