Looks great! I have made (1) fire ring and designed several more. Will adding holes close to the bottom to let air in help the fire burn? Does anyone know?

On pits that have more steel than openings Dave I add 2 inch long by 1/2 inch wide slots along the bottom, I keep them around 4 to 6 inches spacings.

P.S. Love the pit design.
