Plasmacam DHC

Post by Gwguidi »

I just recently purchased a used plasmacam DHC for relatively short money. It has 3.11 software I have everything up and running at this point. I think I understand the software. I have not put a torch on it yet. I just purchased purchased a Hypertherm 800. Could somebody help me out with the following information?

1) A manual for the plasmacam. Video or pdf.

2) How to set the torch height on the DHC to make the first cut.

3) A wiring diagram for the machine for future repair.

4) information on machine adjustments.

Thanks

Gary

That is a DHC and not a 98-Z.

Here is some info on the arc voltage/height setup from John:

Thank you for the response. Interesting. Unfortunately the serial number tag is missing. I think the guy that sold it to me kept the tag I would imagine so we could still use the software anything else I should know?

Technically the license to use the software is tied to the ownership of the table as registered by the owner of the serial number but I'm not the PlasmaCAM license police. :-| If you look in the Facebook forums, there are copies of the owner manual for a similar machine that should be helpful for wiring I believe.

Best case scenario, you contact the previous owner and get the serial number tag for the machine, get it registered in your name, and go from there.
