As was when I worked for Harley Davidson of Baton Rouge in the late 70's.

And it appears it still is . . .

No riding group, gang, chopper shop etc. . . could fly a Harley's LOGO.

If the item is clearly a one off or something that will not be around for ever, i.e. T-Shirt and for the purpose of a established charity, St. Jude's, Susan Komen, etc . . . you will be good to go.

The local Harley dealer here silk screened 100's of pink T-Shirts and gave them to donors . . .

Now if it is simply a money raiser for perhaps an individual who has been injured or is sick, different story.

My 2 cents . . . hope that helps . .

Guys the dealer does not have the rights to the copywrite ONLY the parent Corp does. Copying without permision is copying no matter what the cause is for . Ask the Corp for permision to do so BEFORE you cut it.

Same with checvy, ford, dodge, toyota, Gators, Bulldogs, footbal, baseball, hockey, etc.

The colleges DO have a crafters provision at a much lower rate BUT there ARE restrictions as to what you can AND can not do with it.

Work within the rules and save yourself some headaches down the road.

Just a thought, (;-) TP
