Chimenea
The file is almost ready to post, but I need your help. I want to put a gusset under the tray table. I'd like it to look like the wood work on old victorian front porches. Has anyone got a file like that?

http://all-silhouettes.com/ has some scroll work vectors that might be what you are looking for.

Re: Chimenea
here it is, decided not to use any gussets, shelf holds up fine. keep in mind the chimney is more for effect than function, it will still let some smoke out the front, but trust me, this things throws heat like a mother. I used 4'' .125 tubing for the chimney.

Looks great like the rest of your work. I'm always jealous of your welds.

Lots of free vector art on craftsmanspace.com, mostly scrollwork.

I like it...Looks like a fun project...2 questions...In the cad file, Are the small square pieces with holes the gussets for the tray bottom? and what gauge are you using to cut this from?

They are tabs for the bottom of the feet incase you want to add caster wheels. I used 3/16. when you're putting the front and the sides together, the seams are on the side, not the front or rear. If you put it together any other way, you'll see the floor doesn't fit.RGR wrote:I like it...Looks like a fun project...2 questions...In the cad file, Are the small square pieces with holes the gussets for the tray bottom? and what gauge are you using to cut this from?

Love this project, looks like a great one to put together. Many thanks for the share.
I was wondering about part of the drawing on the DXF that appears to be a line that's out of place. It's the roof line of the rear panel. I attached a screen shot of it open so you can see what I am talking about.

not sure what happened there, but both front and rear have the same outline, you can simply just cut the front out twice without the door if you can't get the file to open correctly.

Your files and creations are always first rate. I made a few of your fire pits last year for Christmas presents and they were all huge hits. Thanks again!
