Don't have any newer stuff that I haven't posted already, so hopefully these will work
24" branch with flowers. 1/4" plate branches with patina, hand hammered/made flowers with dye
12x12x1 Live, Love, Rescue was done with multiple applications in various ways of patinas, 3 layers with sides folded back
24" Cadillac was done with dyes and black paint, 5 layers - A LOT of masking/back masking to keep the colors from bleeding. Very time consuming, but I love how it came out

Thought I'd throw a few in! Here's my first project. This is a bell I just finished, and I have several types of finishes to get the final colors I wanted. The bell is tuned to a solid 420Hz which is referred to as the "Mozart or healing frequency". All modern music is tuned to 440Hz which many people believe sounds crisper than the older standard of 432Hz. Mozart however, liked to compose at 420Hz. One of the reasons is because he actually took into consideration the venues where his music was played, and the way his music sounded at that time and with the technology available.
I'm not a classical music fan, but The bell does sound deep and rich, and reverberates for almost 2 minutes before you lose the sound. The hanger on top is hand forged 3/8" round rod, and the chinese symbol is "Balance" Also, all the elements on the bell are in relief... I used a small grinder to "etch" away the steel around the designs. The bottom edge of the bell I cut freehand to form the bottom edge of the dragonfly designs.
Sorry about the sideways pictures, I rotated them every which way, and they always turned out like this... When I click on them they appear correct... Hmmmmm.....
Thanks!
