Well... Got a few things figured out and done. Relocated the wiring harness (pita btw) and fabbed up the stuff for the drivers side. Need to finish weld the a arm and finish boxin in a few spots (for the tie rod and for strength). Heres a few pics of what im talking bout.

I spent bout 2 hours makin the plate for the bottom of the a arms in corel before i Cut it out with the plas table. If i ever need another, itll fit perfect. Chopped the inner part of the fender so i could see how it might sit on the ground. Both sides sit bout the same. Over all im happy with what ive done. Im to the point where i need to spend money on bags... solenoids... and all the good stuff.

Moving right along, nice work! Not sure what you're looking for solenoid/bag wise, but I have 4 RE-7's, 2 RE-6's - never used, dual 480 compressors and 1/2" valves/fittings I'm selling. Vehicle was never driven with everything installed, but they are from the s10 that I posted pics of on the first page, so they've been used during the build. Everything works and is in good condition. I also have the steel braided line that came with the compressors. They were removed so I could run copper hard line. If you're interested shoot me a PM.

Got the front on the ground today. It waaas hot today. WoW. But anywho...

Ive got a quick 20sec vid of dropping it on its belly too.

20 sec video Chevy 1500

I made everything to sit low... real low. I dont think this truck would have a prob sitting frame on 22's. Theres enough travel in the bags and arms to go up another 2" at least. When i get the new bags... I might make longer uppers cups for it. I have 3" cups right now.

Its been HOT here in Nebraska lately. I got some stuff from GoingCustom and got my Airlift 2600 and 2500 bags. I have the truck sitting on the new bags already. Really happy with the front, not so happy with the back. I gonna have to redo the back bag mounts... again.

8.5 gallon Air tank showed up today. Fuel Cell should be here this week or first part of next week. New Tie Rods and ball joints are here. Still need to notch and tub the front fenders. And tub the rear. Figure out what to do with the exhaust that crosses under the trans. Finally got the box notched and sitting on the frame. Seems like i'll have to switch to a skinnier tire. Tires rubb on the box fender lips. I dont really wanna cut em. Ive got about 2 1/2 weeks to get it done so i can make a local cruise night.

Heres a quick pic of it laid out in front of the shop.

looking good! Wish I would have known you needed an airtank and a fuel cell... I have both lol. Air tank hasn't been mounted on anything and fuel cell was bolted in during mock up but never filled

Looks nice.. as far as pinion angle it should be 3 to 4 degrees down..The rear end tries to roll up under load .if you go with 1 or a -1 it will roll up past straight and can cause a vibration and ujoints to fail ..Also that can cause wheel hop and loose of traction..Almost all factory 4 link setups run uneven lenght upper and lower links as the driveshaft angle changes as the rear end goes up and down to keep the ujoint at the same angle thru the travel they ussually run longer lowers.you might be ok with this due to the driveshaft being pretty much straight at normal ride height .. Most cars have the driveshaft angled down toward the rear end in stock form
Are you using a press brake to bend the plate?or just doing it in the vise?

Im not building a race car. This is just a project to beat the streets in. Stock 350tbi, bark is worse than its bite.

I plas a .060 line and bend em pretty easy in the vise.

Well... im not gonna make my deadline :( . Girlfriend thought the kitchen had to be completely re-donein the last weeks. BUT i have the truck down on all 4's once again with all new tie rods and ball joints in the front. All i have left is fuel cell mounts to fab up. Then just bleed the rear brakes, mount the new pull fuel pump, mount the battery and fire it up ( i hope).

I did get the switch box wired to the valves. Gonna have to open the box up. Seems that i have a wire not connected somewhere. Any who. Ill post some pics of me playing with it on shop air (fbss, laid out and air'd up). That reminds me. I need to buy a couple relays.

Some pics playin on shop air. At 120-145psi the 1/2 valves are crazy fast. I have a 145/175 pressure switch. Hope i dont get wiplash. Im gonna see about getting some bushings for the dumps. It slams the ground hard right now. Maybe put some 1/2" to 1/8" and see if that helps sit it on the ground softer.

when I was still driving around my f150, I just put some plugs in the dumps and drilled a small hole in each plug. started off pretty small and worked my way up to where I liked the speed. It also helped with the back pressure that I needed to keep my smc's from sticking.

I have the slow down baffles that screw in to the end of the dump valves. It will still go up fast, but it makes it to where it's adjustable going down. Nice work on the progress! Realllllllly making me miss my s10 tho :(

Got alot done on Sunday. New Goodmark fenders, nice straight hood, smoothie bumper with lower valance and gmc grille shell with a billet insert (gonna be traded out for a factory chevy grille when i get a chance). I tubbed under the hood with trailer fenders. Finally bolted down the box too.

Bought a new battery and the rest of the electrical components are on the way. Still dunno what to do about the radiator over flow tank...

Itll sit on the lower valance when laid out. I have a 2x4 sitting under the frame right now. Otherwise the truck sits on the exhaust cross over and not on the frame... yet.

I havent updated in awhile. I got the truck running and driving now. Just need tires before ill take her out of town.

I happy overall with what ive done. Its been alot of work figuring this thing out. Next time i do one. Itll be a different rear setup. 6 link with a watts link i suppose. That'll leave room to have the fuel tank and air ride componenets under the bed- instead of in the bed. I posted a video on Youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG_WAITu7kQ ) driving it up to the shop.

Thanks for checkin out my build.
Thanks to GoingCustom for giving me a helluva deal on the air ride parts and advice.
Thank to the other businesses i got parts from too. ( Illusivedf )
