A friend brought me this table, previously had a glass top but it broke so he asked if I could come up with something replace it. Thanks to this forum for the file!

How do you plan on making the surface flat for putting things on? I did a similiar cut and tried the epoxy coating, it never sat up and I still have to deal with it now.
