Lava Lamp (Redux)

Post by Craig »

Made this because I always thought that the original Lava Lamp could use a makeover, also it continues the Rocket Ship lamp theme from my original project.

Thanks everyone, here is a DXF of the project very simple the 4 upright pieces I cut from 1/8" aluminum. The 4 rectangular brace pieces I bent in the middle at 90 degrees to sandwich the upright pieces at the bottom. I made large ovals in the braces to allow for adjustment to get the uprights as close to the lamp as possible. The top of the uprights are simply wired together, definitely room for improvement there. Craig Johnson

I made this one for the ?Grande? model you must have another model. It might scale down but I would measure your lamp and adjust accordingly. I used red LED?s on the bottom and they had the same color as the lamp. Craig Johnson
