need help with a DXF file - The Rack

my buddy asked me to cut out something for a Christmas gift project hes doing for his dad. he said he could draw it on auto cad and here is what he sent me. i have no idea where to start besides redrawing it. i would but im running out of time.. can anyone please fix it or tell me what i need to do? i have a 2'x4' torchmate table with there cad lite software. the file says its to large to post so i imagine that part of my issue but this is what is looks like. i can email the file

im mostly after the antlers. the ( The Rack sign ) the RENO NV signs and the lower left TRG2 and the bowling stuff.

What format is the autocad file? You should be able to just import the cad drawing and cut.

It says DXF but when I import it to cad lite to modify the size it's does something I've never seen before. And it's really hard to explain. I'll take a pic of my screen so you can see!

What about just tracing the picture you posted in inkscape?

He may have saved it in a newer version of ACAD software than you have capabilities of opening. Ask him to do a "save as" and save it back to an older version like 2004

So I just talked to my friend again about this and Miss understood him. He used adobe illustrator not auto cad like I said he did.

I retraced it in corel 7, saved as dxf and it came out a lot better.still needs some cleanup.

It's to big to post as a DXF, but if you send me your email address I can send it to you as a DXF. Send your email address with the subject Private email to my user name @gmail.com and I'll send you the file.
