John Deere and Hitachi 35 bucket ears
Its about time I share something. Heres a file for the bucket ears on John Deere and Hitachi 35 Excavators. Works well, I made it and used it to build some ripper blades. Factory buckets use 5/8ths material.

Some software just won't jive with some versions of dxf. Try this older dxf versionEiankline526 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 7:54 pm downloaded this 6 different ways and for some reason never pulls up when I open it its just a blank page in draftsite

I thought you had to be a contributing member to be able to download files. I know when I did not pay my annual fee I could not download them.

I believe the annual membership fee is $20, which will allow you access to any of the vector files - dxf, pcm, etc. Once you have become a member, I will be more than happy to email this file to you. Click on the link below for the membership form.

Re: John Deere and Hitachi 35 bucket ears
Which areas are you wanting to smooth. Open the file, mark it up, and take a screen shot and post so we can see. Also there are several files posted above. Which one did you open that you wish to edit?welder6013 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 7:32 pm Hello. Which file. Please show a screen shot of the entire part so we can make sure which file you actually opened.
Thanks,

Here is the whole part. I just fixed it. I used the smooth function and everything looks great now.

Re: John Deere and Hitachi 35 bucket ears
Yes - something like "H" 0.01 would probably do it. I'm not sure which file you downloaded, but the "rough" edges could be the result of an auto trace from a photo. The "rough" edges most likely would not impair the functionality of the part, but why not make is as good as you can before cutting. The Video Manual Chapter 6 describes the use of the Smooth tool in detail.
