How is the gantry held down to the Y axis? I watched your video and saw the round rods that your rollers run on but didn't see how you are holding the gantry down. Or is it just the weight of the gantry?

Looks like a really well thought out machine.

Hello! The gantry rides on the Y-rails. The weight of the gantry holds down the gantry and the proper tuning of the motors allows the machine not to wheely or lift. Also the motor's gears are pulled against the gear rack with 2 heavy duty springs on each side to allow it to always seed into the grooves.

The control software we used is Linux CNC based with our own GUI. The motion control of the table is not operated and controlled by the computer that the software is on. All the computer does is allows you to give the table commands and the motion control is onboard in the control box on the table. The motion control board and THC board are made here in house with our pick and place machines.

I would like to see a video of the actual loading of a file made in SigmaNest to the table. What is involved to actually get the file to cut.

That is one video we know we need to do and it shouldn't be to much longer. We will post it on here when we get it complete.

Very nice table. I'm shopping for a 5x10 table. I like the construction. Heavy duty and built to last.

I'm interested in being able to cut square or rectangle tubing or cut holes in channel and H beam. What spacing is available below the gantry that can be cut?

The tube / pipe cutting attachment we are about to start working on. From what I have heard we are thinking we will have anywhere from 3"OD to 4"OD max size able to fit. This will be confirmed closer to the time of R&D.

Any progress on the video showing the table interface? You have the USB stick in your hand. You walk up to machine. You insert USB stick into machine. And then............

You at JD said you would post a video of the machine interface soon. That was nearly three months ago. So where is it?

Sorry for the delay but we did a couple quick videos of the new version that just came out last week. We should have them all up on the website by tomorrow. Big improvements for everyone that already has the table because of free updates for the life of the table.
