Howdy, I am having a hard time making a spring loaded bracket for this radio mount. This one works, but takes a few tries welding it on at the correct angle. I have a jig that holds it in place, but doesnt work the best. Does anybody have a better design for a spring loaded clip?

Could cut a thick piece of rubber and wedge it in behind for a little more outward pressure on the tab.
