Carlin burner 50k-275k btu ?'s

Post by mmw »

Will this burner support an oven 4'x8'x20'?
Is there a basic btu per cubic ft formula?
I see people that burn a Mr. heater of 170k on a 4'x8'x10' with no problems. I just want to make sure that I can do gates and truck frames from time to time. I have the burner and controls. Working on getting the box sorted.
Thanks in advance.

Just abut any burner will work the issue will be the quality of the coating
You need the parts at 204C (not the oven) so the bigger
The quality is very dependant on how quickly the part gets from 170c to 204c

You will want a bigger burner that is only 50kw abut 4 times the size
I have a 270kw diesel burner on my 4x4x8 oven
I started with a 50kw burner and it was not enough but it did get to temperature
