Bill, nice work. Is that Black F/X or paint? I just got your starter kit yesterday, I plan on playing with it later this week. I can't wait!

The whole sign is Black Powder-Coat, then I removed the PC from the mountain, used Copper F/X & clear-coated
the whole sign with Automotive Clear (Deltron). :)

That is a Beautiful combination. Someday...I'll sell your finishes and you'll get that phone call from me. I have been pushing your product. I just need to order your starter kit to have showroom examples.

Thanks! I almost didn't post that photo...it was taken with my cell-phone camera which isn't that great. My good camera "grew legs" recently. Haven't got a new one, yet.

This piece actually looked 5X nicer in person, but y'all can get the idea of the Black/Copper contrast. It's pretty cool.

thanks again!

Bill how did you remove the powder coat? Did you grind it off?
Thanks, Dawg.

Yes, I just ground it off. I used a 36-Grit AVOS disc, followed by a 120-Grit Flap Disc.

Yes, you can. Clear PC is not 100% clear, however & the heat will tend to darken the patinas a little.
I only use clear PC in the winter-time, when I can't get my shop & metal temp up to 65?F or greater.
