Do you make the leaves and vines yourself or purchase them pre cut?
Nice gate as usual.

Really nice job! Love the addition of the vines and leaves on either side too. Is the scene of of Jasons designs? How tall is the gate?

Thank you for the compliments. The gate is a bit over 5' tall. The leaves I purchased from Pacific Steel. I made the vines by cutting 1/4" and 5/16" rod to different lengths then running them through the slip roll first one way then turning them sideways and running them through again to make them twisty then weld the leaves onto the vines.

To answer your question plain ol Bill, their is designs from plasmacam and from Jason both in that thing. Alot of it altered a fair bit but most of it came from those two places.

I went back in and looked at it a little closer. I had not noticed the little bird on the branch, the dragonfly, the quail and the swallows - LOVE IT!

That's what I like about it too lots of little details without it being overdone or cluttered, did you also see the squirrel in the tree and the bird feeding her young, I bet many people will pass the gate and notice something more each time.

Awesome gate! Always nice to see something different!

How many hours do you have in that? Including design time? Not including design time?

There is probably 4 to 5 hours of design time in it. Fabrication probably took 3 solid days. It took two or three weeks because I was doing other projects at the same time but if I worked on just the gate alone it would have taken about 3 days or so I would guess.
