Proma thc settings for light metal

hey i have a question
i have a diy table and am looking to get a little more setup with my oroma thc. i currrently am running mach3 and have my thc set at 127v
on my plasma table. is there any settings that i can use for lighter sheet metal upto at least 1/4' plate.

yup, use a higher voltage and lower feedrate

The best thig to do is create a chart for you to use for the different metals you cut. The voltage will vary with different plasma units You can use other charts (Hypertherm manual has them) as a guide for getting you in the ball park. Here is a video on haw to check the voltage and make a chart to keep. This is for another THC but the info will help you do yours.

Arc voltage setting will need to be changed when changing material thickness, amperage, or cut speed in order to maintain a proper cutting height and Tom has the right idea making your own chart. Will be very beneficial to take the time to do it and if you only cut a few different thickness of material it won't take long at all.
