Garden Fence

Post by tomloewen »

I got this file from “Peechy” . . . thanks Peechy! It came out nice!

I scaled the fence to the height I needed and made a couple smaller modifications to suit my needs.
To help hold it in place, I formed a base channel which I filled with reclaimed brick . . . it’s not going anywhere!
Then I painted it and then removed the amount of paint I wanted. After that I applied Muriatic acid and let the morning dew transform it into rust.

I wasn’t quite happy with how it looked, so I formed up a few flower boxes. I welded two together and made them so they slid over the pickets, and can be removed, if need be. The bottom of the flower boxes is open, with expanded metal welded in, this will allow for drainage.
