Six sided fire pit plasma cut from 3/16"

Post by AKmud »

I tried my hand at the file I found here for the six sided pit. I changed a couple of things, but I think it turned out excellent. Cut from 3/16” HR.

Just an FYI, the bend angle between the legs and upper panel is 56°.

I was in the Mat-Su for 46 years, we moved to NW Arkansas in 2018.

Normally I use Rustoleum high heat, but I can't find it in quart cans now that I have a spray gun so I have been using Krylon high heat from Lowes.

Nice work.
For others that don't have a brake, you can cut the sides and base as separate items and weld them together. Just a little more welding.
