I find that the ones that dont make the grade and end up on the shop wall attract attention for new sales and requests.
Those look good to me too!

Always try to PAINT the displays. They stand out better, look better, and they let the customer know that they are not limited to raw metal. Clean them with some paint thinner. Hit them with Rustoleum rusty metal primer, and a coat of colorful spray paint.

I like the Rustoleum brand for spray paint cans, and in particular the hammered finish - which comes in several colors. I have also used the 2 step process of dipping in acid and then spraying with hydrogen peroxide to really give the piece that colorful rusted look. After dry, I have sometimes sprayed with satin clear.

I am most famous for my "Memory Finish." I cut the piece, and forget to bring it inside. Then it rusts in the rain.

I spy an HQ Holden! Don't see them cut out very often...if at all! I'm in NZ and have an HQ Premier. Any chance of getting that file? Happy to pay if need be.

I don't think that is a Holden. I think it is a Ford Mustang. As I look at photos of the Holden, you may be RIGHT!

However, if you have a photo of a car you like, send it to me, and I will get around to creating the .dxf cut file for you, as time, and energy allow. No charge. I do this for fun. :HaHa

Now that I see the photos, I do see that you did a great job with the illustration. I never heard of that car before this post.

That is a very kind offer, thank you. My father just built a tribute to a famous American hot rod so I may see if you would do that car for me at some stage so I can surprise him with it.
