Pico quench residue

Post by AZ_guy »

I’m using the Pico quench coolant for my plasma table. It works awesome keeping the rust down but if I leave it on a piece ive cut it gets really tacky and hard to get off. If I wipe it off right away it just wipes off, if I wait a little while it’s like trying to scrub adhesive off.

Anyone else have this issue? Any idea what would break it down easier? Acetone doesn’t seem to do much

Can you resubmerge it in the quench to dissolve it?

Good idea, I didn’t even think to try that. I’ll go out and try it right now

Your a genius! It comes off with no effort at all, you just saved me countless hours of scrubbing for no reason. You deserve an award

Happy to help. It seemed like the obvious answer, even though I have no idea what pico quench is.
