Pictish cat here. Retired from cnc and machine service career. Almost done setting up my Langmuir Crodsfire
Pro. Already looking for tips and advice.

Welcome aboard! I've heard some great reviews for the Langmuir tables, and I don't think you can go wrong with the Crossfire Pro. What plasma cutter are you using? And what cad/cam software? Most of the Langmuir folks use Fusion 360, and there are some great tutorials at their site.

Inkscape is another popular cad program used by many here for more artistic work. Sheetcam is used by many as well for converting dxf to gcode.
Let us know if you have specific questions or need more information about specific topics. You can also use the search tool.

You also might consider becoming a Contributing Member ($20/year) for access to all the great cut files as well as other benefits.

By the way, some members use Solid Edge, which is also free.
