Hello From Taxes San Antonio

Post by Antonio491 »

As a content writer with a passion for technology, I am on a mission to master the use of the Sparx controller and STV table in conjunction with myplasm software. Any tips, tricks, and hints are greatly appreciated as I have inherited all the equipment from a previous teacher. Excited to see what we can create together!

Welcome aboard, there are a few teachers already on the site, happy to have another. Showing other how to do things is great, you can have a look around here using the search function in the upper right. Questions are answered as there is a large group of users different tables and locations. Most of what you are interested in is very similar to all tables, the software has some differences but not a big problem. Where you may find a problem is with the CAD section due to the types of files that are generated. Some manufactures want to have a proprietary nature but thankfully not many. You can download many files from here without a problem along with tricks and tips.

Welcome to the forum Antonio! What particular software will your students be using to design their parts for cutting? There are many here using the Inkscape/SheetCam combination for their cad/cam, and Fusion 360 is another one your students may already be familiar with if they have been doing any 3D printing - perhaps in one of their other classes. Good luck with your new adventure and let us know if you have any specific questions along the way.
