Hey Peter, I am not sure how to tell, it may still be considered a Duramax torch I don't know. I was told that if your torch uses the consumable parts listed below this will work with your torch.

Will the easyscriber work with a Powermax 900, Pac hand torch? I know, old school, but it works, plus I got a good deal on it.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

From what I know it is only available for newer Hypertherm models.

I am not a Sheetcam user but above is what motoguy suggested near the beginning of this thread.

No it won't, I looked into this myself before before buying mine. Look at weldguy's post at the top of this page and your torch must use those consumables for this to fit. Those consumables are found on the 65, 85, 105, and 45xp.

I don't have one, but I wouldn't think you would want your plasma cutter on since the scriber replaces the consumables. This might cause problems with the arc ok setting not showing up and not allowing the table to move.

We just signed up for the forum to assist with questions like this. I see your post is a few weeks old so you likely have it figured out by now.

Your plasma cutter will not operate with the EasyScriber installed however we still suggest turning the plasma cutter off when scribing.

Machine settings for scribing vary depending on what plasma cutting table and/or what software you are using.

If you still have any questions please let us know and we will be happy to help.

Easyscriber, as you've jointed the forum.

What's the chances of a Powermax 45 (non-XP) scribe being issued?

besides market size.... what could we do to help expand your product portfolio? (happy to provide some dims for the barrel etc).

I'm sure other plasma torch users would be happy to do other similar such measurements for the development of a few prototypes (I think the S60 and S45 are fairly common torches that have been copied and cloned by a few now

We have had a lot of interest in a unit for the Pmax 45 and we wanted to offer one. We recently found that the physical size of the consumable set in the 45 torch is too small and there is just not enough room to make it work. Thanks for the link to the replacement torches that could be very helpful!

I have a plasmacam table and a hypertherm Hypermax 85. I am thinking about purchasing the Easyscriber. Can anyone assist me in setting up my plasmacam so it will go through the motions of scribing and not give error message for not making contact with the metal? It looks like I can completely leave the cutter turned off while scribing.

I have watched the video, and setup looks very easy. Just mot sure about setting in plasmacam software. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Unless you have the newer style torch that uses the 220842 electrode it will not.

Let us know if you have any additional questions and we will be happy to help.

BTW, this will be used on a PlasmaCam DHC2, with the 3.11 software. Anything in particular to be aware of?
