I went out to the shop to cut some stuff today and my torch won’t fire. I have a Hypertherm Powermax 65 with machine torch. I installed a new magnetic ground on it, but there’s no way that is the problem. I try to manually fire the torch in Mach 3 and the light comes on but nothing happens. I noticed when I take the consumables out there are no error messages on the plasma. Usually when I take the cap and nozzle off, there is an error light that comes on and you have to shut off and restart the machine. I did this today and no errors when I took the torch apart. Has anyone encountered this? Thanks guys.

Jump pins 3 & 4 the torch should fire.

That is very odd. Try killing the power to the unit for a couple minuted then plugging it back in again and starting over.
