Smoke control

Post by DJC »

Maybe this is common knowledge but I am fairly new to the game...
I've been working to control the smoke, dust etc. that is produce while cutting. I have been using 2 welding blankets I bought at HF to cover everything I can on the surface of the table except for where the cut is actually taking place. So far it seems to help quite a bit. Maybe this can help others??
Thanks-

I do the same thing and that allows the downdraft fan I have to pull out the smoke much more effectively. Simple and affordable way of doing it but in the winter I draw a lot of cool air into the shop.
