Diving on Start

Post by CleanCutCreations »

So Im having a problem with my torch diving as soon as I hit start. Basically, Ill hit start it starts to go to the first cut point, but is also lowering the torch at the same time. Then dragging. I noticed in Mach 3 when I pan the view, it looks like every cut is on a different plane, is that the problem? How would I fix that? In Sheetcam and Cad everything is in the same plane. Also, I do not use a THC because it was causing a ton of problem, but thats a different issue. Since I have been running without a thc everything has been fine until tonight.

It should dive a bit.... It should go from the pierce height to the cut height

As the cut height as the torch is dragging and you are NOT using THC...... Is your switch offset set correctly for the floating head.... Has it changed.... Has it been crashed into the material and maybe bent the switch lever?

The problem was that somehow my Z axis got flipped. That is a good way to mess with someone in case y'all were wondering.
