Importing SVG or DXF to Fusion 360 Design space

Post by adbuch »

Here is an example of starting with a jpeg image, importing to Inkscape for auto trace, exporting as svg or dxf, and then importing to Fusion 360 for editing in preparation for creating cut paths and g-code. I have found that it is much easier (at least for me) to do my "node editing" from within Fusion 360 as opposed to Inkscape.

Here is the sequence of operations using Inkscape.

Now the file is imported to Fusion 360 for editing and cam.
