Fusion 360 Help

Post by dpelkowski »

What do I have to do in Fusion 360 in order to cut this out? Most of the details will select fine, but a few end up all segmented, and when I create a cutpath it misses a lot of the outlines. :-?

I opened your design in Corel Draw and saw that the objects were on multiple layers. It could be that some of the layers were being ignored when you were creating your cutpath and that could be why objects were missing. Fusion is great for mechanical design but for art stuff it can be cumbersome, I prefer Corel Draw. Inkscape is free one that many here use. Not sure how to fix your issue in Fusion but if it helps here is your design I brought into Corel and put all objects on a single layer.

Super easy. Just open your file in Corel and select all the objects on your screen. Click on "Copy" then open a new blank document and click on "Paste" and it will paste all the objects on 1 layer. Let me know if you need more clarification but that should get you there.
