we are new to the flashcut program, when I try to save a dxf from this site, it up loads the file twice, and will when I try to make a cut path it only does the outside of the shape

It is possible that you have a crappy file. Being a public sharing forum some members designs are not as clean and polished as others. Lets start by seeing the file your trying to load
