Does your drawing have 2 paths stacked on top of each other?

I would recreate your sheetcam file with just one copy of your part and see if it cuts OK. It is possible to accidentally duplicate a part in sheetcam and have it cut twice like you describe. If that fixes it, you know it is a problem in your file.

if you have / use autocad you can use the command "-overkill" and it will remove overlaid lines ..... it requires a full version of autocad, not LT and sometimes it can remove a line that is longer than desired (so you have to check the gap.

Sometimes there are lines which are no coplaner (i.e. on the same Z-Axis height), for this you can use the "flatten" command and then "-overkill".

Private message me the file if you want and I'll run a check on it and send it back having flattened it, and used overkill purge etc, it won't take long.

In SheetCam click on the part of the name in the drawing that you think is doubled under layers. left click and go to properties and you will see the menu shown and it will tell you if it is doubled, with number of layers and number of outlines. I drew a double circle for the demo you can only see one in SheetCam.
